The Charlotte Bobcats recently became the Charlotte Hornets again, but that fresh start has done little for their NBA superstar Jannero Pargo, who will be praying he gets a big-money deal soon. After splitting with his reality-star wife, Malaysia, she's set to get a huge support compensation package, and one that could cripple him financially. She stars on the VH1 show Basketball Wives LA, but it seems like she wants the extra cash, too. This divorce drama has seen their three kids involved, too. What will happen next?

The NBA season is a matter of weeks away, but Pargo has a ton of off-court issues to resolve. Their 3 kids are aged 7, 3 and 3, and the split is hitting them hard. It's believed he will pay over $23,000 per month to cover various fees and needs, and he's been told he must pay her $25,000 lawyer fees. He only has a one-year contract, earning a little over $1 million, so this isn't the normal "he'll make it back soon" scenario.

If the star can impress it's likely he will earn a lot more next season, meaning these fees would be more than manageable. Despite people claiming players don't always try their hardest, you can guarantee he will be putting his blood, sweat and tears on to the court this season, even if only to get a huge new contract.
