Justin Timberlake is NOT dead!

So don't let such morbid "RIP" rumors destroy your weekend.

For some very odd and disturbing reason, a "death hoax" surrounding the "Mirrors" crooner just went viral on Twitter. No rhyme or reason, just "RIP Justin Timberlake." Several fans were definitely not amused:

@NovaBaby_: "The RIP Justin Timberlake is so not funny! I almost had a heart attack!"

@syhorlina: "RIP Justin Timberlake? you really gotta be kidding me, wtf is this, WHY DO YOU GUYS KEEP KILLING PEOPLE."

@hisbiggest_fan: "TO WHOEVER SAID THIS 'RIP Justin Timberlake,' I HATE U SO MUCH."

@DamonKlausTVD: "Whoever started this RIP Justin Timberlake, we are going to find you and bash your head!"

@CrissaCrystal: "RIP Justin Timberlake?!! What?!! Is that a joke?!!"

@96_constance: "RIP Justin Timberlake Whhhaaaatt????"

Simply not true. Jessica Biel's hubby was "killed off" on the internet back in July 2013, too - thanks to this bogus news report about a "tragic car crash" involving the former NSYNC pop star:

(Local Team News 9) Justin Timberlake died in a single vehicle crash on Route 80 between Morristown and Roswell. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics responding to the vehicle accident and was identified by photo ID found on his body. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been a factor in this accident - August 17, 2014

Justin Timberlake flipped vehicle Highway Safety Investigators have told reporters that Justin Timberlake lost control while driving a friend's vehicle on Interstate 80 and rolled the vehicle several times killing him instantly.

The vehicle was believed to have been traveling at approximately 95 miles per hour in a 55mph zone at the time of the accident.

Witnesses have stated that Justin Timberlake's car crossed the double lines several times prior to the accident and hit the center lane divider causing the vehicle to flip and roll.

Toxicology tests will be performed to determine whether he was driving under the influence, however initial findings indicate that drugss or alcohol did not contribute in any way to this accident as it was more likely to been caused by road conditions.

Memorial services for Justin Timberlake have not yet been announced. The service is expected to be a closed casket funeral due to the severe head trauma.

Notice, however, that Global Associated News is a HOAX website - the homepage even says "Fake Celebrity News Engine!" JT is still alive and well!

Timberlake just performed at the 2014 V Festival this weekend:

@jtimberlake: "#VFestival."

Not dead!
