All you One Directioners out there can breathe a sigh of relief today as the One Direction break up rumors are being put to rest by a pretty reliable source. Simon Cowell, who formed the band on the British singing competition The X-Factor is speaking out today, saying that rumors that the band are splitting up are completely false.

However, the happy news might be short lived as Mr. Cowell does say that he is expecting the band to break up in the future to pursue solo careers.

According to the Daily Star, who spoke to the reality show judge, he says that the band will put out at least two albums before they call it quits.

"I think they will make at least two more albums together and they are in the middle of one right now."

"No, I don't think that is going to happen for a while," the mentor says about Harry Styles leaving the band to focus on his solo endeavors. However, he does conclude by saying "Eventually I am sure they all will. Bands don't stay together forever."

Despite rumors of leaving the band Harry says that he is all in for the time being.

"I'm 100 per cent in this band," the singer said in an interview with Top Of Pops magazine. "I still want to be touring with One Direction in ten years. I'll be doing it until I'm old and people are telling me to stop."

However, despite Simon's conformation that the band was staying together, it hasn't stopped the hashtag #1DtoLiveOnForever to trend on Twitter.
