Fergie New Music - 'Duchess' Singer Tells Chelsea Handler She's In The Studio Recording Follow Up To 2006 Album

Our favorite Black-Eyed Pea is getting ready for a comeback. The Duchess herself, Fergie just revealed that she is in the studio recording her follow up album to her multiplatinum 2006 hit record. It has been eight years since her last album and we have been patiently awaiting her new album ever since.

She opened up in an interview during an appeared on Chelsea Handler's late night talk show Chelsea Lately, where she revealed that she has been in the studio working on new music, accoring to Idolator.

"My social life is now at the studio, everyone's there and I think it's the biggest party," the singer explained.

"When are you going to come out with another album already, what are you waiting for? Chelsea jokingly asks.

To which the "London Bridge" singer revealed very excitedly that "it's coming," and it will be a solo project without the Black-Eyed Peas. She also revealed that she is writing about all different kinds of things and has been collaborating with some pretty talented people on the new project.

She also confirms that she will be touring to promote the new album, and that her and husband Josh Duhamel and son Axl will have to figure out what they're going to do when she hits the road.

Handler, jokes with the singer that if she was ever going to be a mother she would spend 12 months out of the year on the road.

The Duchess, which was released in 2006 went on to debut at number 2 on the Billboard 200 charts and spawn five massive hits including, "Big Girls, Don't Cry," "Glamorous," and "Fergalicious."
