Our current President, Barack Obama, turned down the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge because getting a bucket of ice water dumped on top of you is not exactly presidential. In fact, former President George W. Bush agrees - but he's been out of office for quite some time! As we found out in a new video posted to his Facebook page, Bush (with help from wife Laura Bush) gets wet and then challenged another former President, Bill Clinton!
"To you all that challenged me, I do not think it's presidential for me to be splashed with ice water, so I'm simply going to write you a check," he tells the camera, but then we see his wife come from out of frame to dump a bucket of ice water on top of the former Head of State.
"That check is for me. I wouldn't ruin my hairstyle," Laura says, smiling.
From there, George nominates his predecessor to the Oval Office, former President Bill Clinton. Only time will tell if Bill accepts, but we're sure to have some great reactions to that video if he does!
Check out this video of Bush accepting the Ice Bucket Challenge!
We're not sure if George is poking fun at Obama for not accepting or backing up his stance on the matter, but either way we're glad to see that Bush has a sense of humor and is willing to get wet to help spread awareness for ALS.
