R&B singer Bruno Mars just made a very large investment, spending $3.3 million on a new Los Angeles mansion, reported on July 26.

The 26-year-old is moving into a Laurel Canyon- area home that has three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and property that amounts to 4,064 square feet, according to the Daily Mail.

Yahoo described details of the mansion, which include custom-made eleven-foot tall double front doors, marble columns standing over "chocolate coloured hardwood floors and floor-to-ceiling retractable glass panels" that provide views of the San Fernando Valley.

The home is equipped with a garage that can easily fit three or four cars while an additional driveway provides room for up to six cars. Also perfect for the year round California cool weather, the backyard has an outdoor bar and dark-bottom swimming pool.

The Laurel Canyon area has been home to celebrities such as music icon Frank Zappa, actor George Clooney and magician Harry Houdini.

The singer rhymes in his songs that he "wants to be a billionaire so f-king bad," and the purchase of his new proves he has at least made this way up the millionaire's club.

After being featured in "Billionaire" by Travis McCoy of the Gym Class Heroes, Mars made a name for himself as a solo artist with "Just the Way You Are," which helped him win a Grammy Award, and "Grenade."

Mars has not be rumored to be seeing any woman in specific to share his new home with, though for a while he was linked with model and actress Jessica Caban.
