Chris Pratt surprised some young fans this week when he visited the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles in character as his Guardians of the Galaxy role, Peter "Star-Lord" Quill. Photos of his visit were posted to Reddit, Instagram and Twitter, so let's take a look at them to see the happy smiles on these patients' faces!

Check out Chris taking part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge earlier this week!

Thanks to a post on Reddit, we can see Chris visiting with Dylan Prunty, a patient at the hospital that earned the nickname "Lego Kid" for building a Lego replica of the hospital. It must've been fun to see Pratt, who was the star of The Lego Movie!

The hospital even shared a great photo of Pratt with one lucky patient on its Twitter account:

We're not surprised Pratt visited the hospital though because he recently told Panzer TV that that was his plan all along!

"I stole the jacket and some of the wardrobe so that, if this movie comes out and does what everyone hopes it can, I can follow the example of someone -- say, like, [Seattle Seahawks quarterback] Russell Wilson, you know -- and go visit kids," Pratt said.

Wilson visits children's hospitals every week.

"If it was a big enough movie, to where it would mean something to a kid who's sick in the hospital for Peter Quill or Star-Lord to come visit them, I'll do that," the movie star continued. "I think that's awesome, man. That would give me real meaning for this movie, you know?"
