Kevin Durant, Jay-Z, Stephen Curry & LeBron James: Oklahoma City Thunder Star Slams NBA Rival & Hip Hop Legend & Lands Under Armour Deal: Will He Lead Thunder To NBA Championship?

Kevin Durant is in the headlines for both good and bad reasons at the moment. The Oklahoma City Thunder star is tipped to push his team close to winning their first NBA championship together in the 2014/15 NBA season, but he will face stiff competition from LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers. Durant is evidently bored waiting to play, as he has jokingly slammed fellow NBA star Stephen Curry, and then admitted that his favourite rap track is not performed by Hip Hop legend and business partner Jay-Z. On the brighter side, he has landed a huge sponsorship deal with Under Armour, but more importantly, will he be winning his first NBA title any time soon?

Durant joked, saying Curry wasn't that good on NBA 2K14, saying "The thing is, I can't shoot with Steph. I can't play well, he's terrible in the game," Durant said. What matters most is this duo, alongside LeBron will be competing for the actual real-life NBA title this year, leaving the NBA 2K business where it belongs, as front room entertainment.

Durant is confident enough to say what he thinks, evidently, and with his new sponsorship deal, he's obviously feeling on top of the world. He has been offered a $270 million endorsement deal, and it's believed he will accept the offer soon. He might need it, as he recently snubbed Jay-Z, when he was asked to name his favourite rap artist and song, and he didn't pick business parter Jay, he opted to choose Pharrell Williams.
