'American Horror Story' Season 4 Freak Show Official Trailer & Premiere Date Released

American Horror Story is getting ready to unveil its latest horror masterpiece, Freak Show, and fans have been anxiously waiting for the new season pretty much since the end of the last one. All of us AHS fans out there now have reason to celebrate as FX has just released a new trailer and has announced a premiere date for the series.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, fans will have to step right up to see the greatest show on earth on October 8 at 10 pm when it debuts on FX. The new season, co-created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, will see some of our favorite cast members returning as they try to save their dying carnival.

According to FX, Freak Show, "begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience."

A trailer for the new season was also released amongst all this news today. While it's short and sweet, it does give us the willies. In the ten second preview, a four fingered hand emerges from the darkness, opens up its hand and reveals an admit one ticket to the Freak show.

Stars Jessica Lange, Emma Roberts, Frances Conroy, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, and Evan Peters will all be returning to the series while newcomers Patti LaBelle and Wes Bentley have been added amongst others.
