Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey Confirmed: "There's Trouble In Paradise," Mariah Gives Nick Gag Order During Divorce Process

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have confirmed there split the America's Got Talent host told The Insider, "There's trouble in paradise...we have been living in separate houses for a few months."

According to TMZ, the "Hero" singer has reportedly placed a gag order on her 33-year-old estranged husband. Sources say that Mariah's attorneys gave the "Wild N' Out" host a confidentiality agreement and if broken, he will face severe financial penalties.

PageSix reported that the celebrity pair have been "living separately" due to infidelity suspicions according to sources, "He hasn't been staying at their home. He's been living out of hotels. They're fighting a lot." Another source told the site that Mariah hired the guards to help Nick remain faithful by keeping the women away from him, "The security guard wasn't there to keep the girls away from him.  It was to keep him away from the girls."

According to MediaTakeOut.com, sources tell the site that the married couple of six years will announce their split soon and claim that infidelity was not the cause of their break up saying, "Nick completely adored Mariah, he would NEVER cheat on her."

July 26, the couple put their 3 acre, 7-bedroom Colonial Bel Air estate up for sale for $10 million in 2009 after they married, according to TMZ. Now, people suspect the couple is indeed splitting up since putting their marital home up for sale hinting that it may lead to a financial settlement.
