The Season 2 finale of the CW's Arrow depicted Roy (Colton Haynes) becoming the red archer known as Arsenal in order to help Oliver (Stephen Amell) and his allies take down Slade Wilson and his Mirakuru army. When Season 3 debuts this fall, it looks like Arsenal will be a full-fledged member of Team Arrow.

The "Spoiler Room" column at EW.com reports the following about Roy in Season 3 and even has some details on an episode dedicated to the sidekick.

"Now that Roy is becoming Arsenal, does that mean he's an actual member of Team Arrow- Mitchell
Yep. He's on even footing with Felicity and Dig, so says executive producer Marc Guggenheim. 'Episode 6 is very much a Roy-centric episode that deals very directly with Roy's place on the team and particularly Oliver's relationship with Roy.' Could this be the episode that Roy finds out he accidentally killed someone last season?"

In other Arrow news, EW.com also reported TRON: Legacy star Matt Ward has joined the show as Simon Lacroix, whom comic book fans might now as the villain Komodo. A recent plot in the "New 52" Green Arrow comic book series presented Komodo as Robert Queen's protégé, who also uses a bow and arrow and who nearly broke Ollie in a recent story.

The site describes the character's Arrow incarnation as "a deadly mercenary using the code name Komodo who wreaks havoc in Starling City." Executive producer Marc Guggenheim expounded on Komodo's role. "Yes, he's the villain-of-the-week for the second week of the show, but you'll see that Team Arrow's pursuit of him is part and parcel of a season-long storyline," he said. "You're going to know what happens to Komodo at the end of the episode, but it will be a little bit tied in better with the season-long mythology than villain-of-the-week episodes have done in the past."
