With Marvel's Daredevil already in production, Vincent D'Onofrio teases audiences what's in store as he tackles the role of the Marvel Comics super villain, Kingpin. Not only will this version of the unbeatable crime lord be incredibly scary, Wilson Fisk will get his his hands dirty when it comes to action.

In the Marvel Universe, Wilson Fisk remains to be the undefeated crime lord, who has beaten the likes of Spider-Man, The Punisher, and even the man without fear. Though viewers have seen the Marvel baddie by the late Michael Clarke Duncan in the live-action superhero flick, as we mentioned here, showrunner Steven S. DeKnight teases, "So far working with Vincent D'Onofrio, I'd say Kingpin would be pretty scary."

In an interview with Screencrush, the Law & Order: Criminal Intent actor is enjoying himself on set, "'The way that we're shooting it, our Daredevil, everybody that's in the show, is just going so well. Tonight we have a big fight scene that's happening. It's the first time you see my character do something physical."

In the comics, the Kingpin rarely gets involved when it comes to action. Why should he put himself at risk when he can hire professional hit-men and assassins, such as BullsEye? When Fisk does have to take on the Marvel superheroes, they underestimate his skills as an exceptional martial artist.

When asked  about bringing to the character to life, D'Onofrio responds, "I hope it's gonna be the new way to look at Wilson Fisk. I think that there will be no other Wilson Fisk but this one after we're all done with it. That's what we're hoping for."

This writer cannot wait to see the confrontation between D'Onofrio's Kingpin and Charlie Cox's Daredevil

Marvel's Daredevil will premiere on Netflix in May 2015. Readers, are you excited to see Vincent D'Onofrio as The Kingpin?
