According to Advocate, Chris Brown answered with a homophobic slur when paparazzi asked him about fellow musician Frank Ocean outside of a France night club on Friday night.

Brown, whose album hit no. 1 on the Official Album Chart earlier this month, was exiting a Cannes, France night club when asked his thoughts about Frank Ocean, an R&B artists best known for his hit debut singles "Novacane" and "Swim Good." According to Advocate, the U.S.-based national gay and lesbian news magazine, Brown supposedly answered back with the whisper "No Homo."

Brown's response comes shortly after Ocean published a post on his Tumblr in which he discussed his sexuality and revealed that his first love had been with a man.

Brown has been the center of a lot of paparazzi gossip lately, considering his stay in France has coincided with Rihanna's own mini-vaca in the same vicinity. The two (who broke up back in 2009 after domestic assault charges were filed against Brown by the hip-hop princess) were seen canoodling on a celebrity-studded yacht party earlier this week. They have also been spotted have romantic dinners and getaways together, even though Brown's current girlfriend Karrueche Tran is said to be in France with him.

No response by Ocean has yet to be issued in regards to Brown's comment.
