It looks like there might be a Sharknado of a problem when it comes to filming for Sharknado 3. According to new reports, stars Tara Reid and Ian Ziering are hoping to bring home the bacon for starring in the sequel to this summers massive hit.

However, it looks like the studio behind the hit film franchise is not dealing with any diva behavior on set, a source close to the studio tells NY Daily News.

"They'll replace him, they'll replace Tara Reid," the insider is revealing. "They're not essential to the story. No one is. The sharks are graphics, and everyone is replaceable."

While the third movie is currently in the beginning stages of production, Ziering has yet to sign a contract to star in the newest installment. After the massive ratings that Sharknado 2: The Second One pulled in, Ian is hoping on a huge pay increase. Almost 4 million tuned in for the second go around of the sci-fi flick. The film is also set to bring in even more money, as it will play a limited engagement at theaters for one weekend.

"Ian needs to be careful how he plays this," the source explains. "If he asks for too much, he will be the first to be cut. The network execs are worse than any shark."

The films are relatively inexpensive to make and the second one only took 19 days to film, so Ziering should be careful about requesting more money.

"Ian did the work and is fantastic, but its not Avatar. The stars of the movie are the sharks, and they're not even real," say that insider.

The first film scored Ian around a $400,000 paycheck.
