Celebrity Couple: 'New Girl' Star Zooey Deschanel Steps Out With Jacob Pechenik After Breakup With Jamie Linden

Zooey Deschanel might be a new girl but it looks like she has just added a new guy to her life. The 34-year-old actress was spotted with her rumored new man, Jacob Pechenik earlier this weekend as the two hit the streets of Los Angeles for a little PDA.

The New Girl actress was spotted kissing and holding the hand of the film producer after a hike in LA. The two are reported to have gotten together after Deschanel and boyfriend Jamie Linden called it quits after two years of dating.

According to Us Weekly, the pair took in the sights of California on their hike, and then went to Sweetsalt Food Shop to get a bite before heading back home. They both color coordinated their outfits as they stepped out in white T-shirts and sunglasses.

According to E! News, a source is saying that the pair definitely was acting like a couple.

"She was smiling and laughing at the things he was saying," the eyewitness explains. "When they got up to leave, he put his arm around her and they walked out together."

Zooey was also married to Death Cab for Cutie lead singer, Ben Gibbard, before divorcing him in 2012 and shacking up with Linden shortly thereafter.

It looks like she is moving on quickly from Linden as well as, as the pair just recently separated.

According to Us Weekly, Jacob and Zooey were reportedly photographed getting close to each other will she was still with Linden and filming her new movie Rock the Kasbah, which Pechenik is producing.

While the couple has maintained the status that they are just friend, we don't know if we are buying it.
