Beyoncé took to the Video Music Awards stage last night and pretty much killed it in everyway possible. Not to mention she took home three awards in addition to receive this year's Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
In fact we there were times during her performance that we completely forgot we were watching the VMA's and though we were just at a Beyoncé concert.
We watched the whole performance at least 10 times already just to break it down and give you our top 6 moments from The Queen's Bey Show.
1. Her outfit
How can we have a list about Beyoncé's performance and not mention this amazing outfit. Mrs. Carter's incredible mosaic bodysuit was designed just for her by Tom Ford. The outfit was so amazing that we weren't even mad that she didn't have a wardrobe change during her 16-minute performance. The multifaceted suit made Beyoncé shine ever more than she already does... if that's even possible.
2. Blue's Dancing
Bey's little girl, Blue Ivy was probably the most adorable thing about the whole award show last night. As she looked up at her mom from the audience you could tell that she was in awe like the rest of us. But while most of us sat motionless on our couches, watching the performance with our mouth open in awe, Blue got her dancing on. The littlest Carter danced right along with her mom especially during her rendition of "Flawless."
3. The Rocket Part
No matter how amazing all the other dancer are, we have to say that one of our favorite parts of the performance was just watching Beyoncé dancing by herself with her chaise lounge. The gymnastic moves that she pulls on that things are crazy, and make us so beyond envious.
4. The Amazing Choreography
We just can't even begin to describe all of Bey's killer dance moves. Whether it was her pole dancing during "Partition," her seductive dancing during "Haunted," or her "grimy" dancing during "Flawless," there is a reason why she is the Queen Bey. No one else can even try to emulate her killer dance moves.
5. Her Killer Acceptance Speech
While Beyoncé and Jay Z's relationship has ben the cause of many headlines lately she gracefully acknowledged and put all the rumors to bed once and for all. There were reports that the singer was going to make some grand announcement at the award show regarding her relationship and marriage to Jay Z, but the singer didn't have to. She lovingly thanked her family and hugged them so sincerely that with just a smile and kiss she shattered all the rumors of divorce and separation.
6. Hearing the Whole Beyoncé Album
Beyoncé literally packed her whole album into the 16-minute show. The only song we don't think we got to hear was "Heaven." Watching her bring her visual album to life made us some anxious for me. We personally can't wait to watch her On The Run HBO Concert Special when it airs on September 20.
