There may be some beef still left over between Jay Z and sister-in-law, Solange Knowles after their elevator fight at a Met Gala after party in May, which stirred some drama at the 2014 MTV VMAs when the rap mogul allegedly made the "Sol-Angel" stay away from Beyonce's dressing room.

According to MediaTakeOut.com's insiders, Queen Bey and Jay-Z were arguing backstage over the 28-year-old being "banned" from her dressing area and wanted answers, "Beyoncé was arguing with security asking about Solange. I always thought that Beyoncé was very soft spoken, she's not. She was all in the [security guard's] face."

The Brooklyn native allegedly tried to calm his wife down, but the 32-year-old wasn't having, "Jay tried to calm her down but she started yelling at him too. She wasn't really yelling, but she was talking mad. Her neck was twisting too, like she was giving him hell," the source added, "Beyonce then walked away, and everyone was quiet. It was very awkward to see Bey act like that towards her husband."

In July interview with Lucky Magazine's August issue Solange briefly touched upon her violent elevator attack and confirmed that she and her family are doing better than ever and passed the dark moment.

"What's important is that my family and I are all good," The "Sol-Angel" said. "What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that."

The Knowles-Carter family released a statement to the Associated Press, and admitted to family issues and denied that Solange was drunk or stirring problems at the party.

"As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it," the family said in a statement. "Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family. The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false. At the end of the day families have problems and we're no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We've put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same."

Are they still beefing?
