What's a better time to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge than after the Emmy Awards while you are still all dolled up? Host of the award show last night, Seth Meyers, though this was the opportune moment to get doused in freezing cold water. As soon as he finished with the live telecast of the 66th Primetime Emmys he walked backstage and was greeted with a bucket of ice water waiting for him.

The star only took off his tuxedo jacket before accepting Jessica Biel and Ben Olsen's nominations. In turn the Late Night With Seth Meyers' star said, "I nominate Vladimir Putin."

The talk show host posted the viral video to his Instagram account, with the caption, "You didn't think we'd end the #Emmys without Seth doing the #alsicebucketchallenge, did you?"

The host put on a star-studded show as he included comedians Jimmy Fallon, Amy Poehlr, and Andy Samberg into his monologues. He also added a hilarious "Billy on the Street" skit with comedian Billy Eichner, which was the highlight of the night for us. The big winners last night included Modern Family, Breaking Bad, and American Horror Story, each taking home multiple trophies.

Seth told E! News, on the red carpet, that while he might appear cool on the outside he was actually freaking out prior to taking the stage.

"Inside, not calm, not collected, but I can fake it 'til I make it," the star joked while talking to Giuiana Rancic before the show.

No need to worry Seth, we think you did an awesome job hosting.
