Batista is at the center of today's WWE rumors, partly because of his own comments and partly because of some floating speculation about his next stint with the company.

Batista appeared on Chris Jericho's podcast, Talk Is Jericho, on Wednesday and talked about his latest run in the WWE from the Royal Rumble through WrestleMania 30 and into June. Firstly, he said he loved the match with Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton at Mania but did not like how the company handled the follow-up.

"I loved that we put him over in the best way possible. We threw out all the bells and whistles. Everything. Even up to the point of me tapping out. But the next night we came back and they didn't want him selling. It wasn't his fault. Daniel is an incredible worker. He knows what he's doing and is an incredible worker. But they didn't want him to come back selling which drove me nuts because we beat the hell out of the guy and he's being pulled off in a stretcher."

Batista also talked about some of the vitriol he received on Twitter, but did admit he followed the Batista Skinny Jeans account and thought it was hilarious. He went on to discuss some of his issues with his return this year.

"It was just bad from right off the bat. They said, 'We want you to come out and do this thing with Hunter and Steph and Randy,' and I was like, 'First night back and you can't give me five minutes in the ring by myself in front if the fans?"

"I told them from the very beginning [making me a babyface] isn't going to work. They said, 'Nah, man. They love you. They love you. They miss you.' That's going to last for 30 seconds. I said, 'They want to hate me and I'm good at that.'"

As for a return, some reports indicate Batista is done with WWE for good, but newer rumors suggest he will be back at some point and it could happen soon. The recent talks about his future with the company could indicate that he would leave sooner than expected. Recall that Batista's deal was reportedly for two years. But now, he could have a retirement match at WrestleMania 31, though this is purely speculative at this point.
