'Cops' TV Crew Member Shot And Killed During A Taping Of A Shootout And Armed Robbery

MStars News has learned that a cameraman apart of the TV show Cops was shot and killed while at work taping a shootout between Omaha police and an armed robbery suspect, according to TMZ.

Local news, KAKE tweeted below, "crew member accidentally shot, killed by @OmahaPolice during armed robbery."

Officers, along with the deceased photog and the rest of the Cops crew responded to a call at a fast food restaurant Tuesday night, and discovered an armed robbery going down. Police revealed that shots were fired, resulting in 2 people getting hit by the bullets. They revealed that the 2 shot victims were the cameraman and the suspect.

In the recorded police radio transmissions, below you will cops request backup as the shooting is taking place. One officer on duty that deadly night says, "We've got a 'Cops' cameraman hit ... white male ... he's not conscious ... he's slightly breathing."

Police also revealed that the robbery suspect was pronounced dead Tuesday night at a local hospital.
