Jeremy Renner has been quite active in interviews lately after The Avengers: Age of Ultron finished filming. He said recently he could appear in Captain America 3, so it should not come as a shock that the actor told Larry King on Larry King Now that he will survive the events of the second Avengers movie.

"No, man. I don't die," he said. "They are going to keep me around for a while."

Renner goes on to talk about how The Avengers 2 compares to more serious films and how he must give maximum effort to playing Hawkeye. Check out the clip at ComicBook.com.

Renner recently spoke with Collider and revealed he may have a larger part in Captain America 3 in 2016. "There are rumblings of Captain America 3," he said. "I don't know what's going to happen there. I've got to find the time, man," he said with a laugh. "I'm trying to stay hoe and I can't."

Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) got a much larger role in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, so it's not impossible to add Hawkeye to the mix to help Cap find Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan).

Superhero Hype spoke to directors Anthony Russo and Joe Russo and asked about Renner's comments. Understandably, the directors did not give a definitive answer, but Joe Russo did offer this short tease. "There are certainly characters that Cap is close to or has a strong relationship with that would make sense appearing in his films," he said. "I think that's all we can say about it."
