With the first season FX'The Strain getting creepier with its growing army of vampire, the scares keep on coming in the upcoming episode, 'Creatures of the Night.' hough Vasiliy Fett and Ephraim Goodweather, have been on separate tracks, just like in the Dark Horse Comics adaptation, Guillermo Del Toro's TV show finally puts its leading actors Kevin Durand (Lost) and Corey Stoll (House of Cards) in the same room together.

In our recent recaps, the exterminator Fett (Durand) discovers the underground rat population is running away from the sewers. Underneath the streets, something is scaring the rodents away from their nest. Topside though, Ephraim Goodweather (Stoll) has just wounded Thomas Echorist (Richard Sammel) with one of Abraham (David Bradley)'s silver bullet.

For fans of the Dark Horse adaptation, the exterminator and the epidemiologist Goodweather (Stoll) are finally going to meet in an unexpected confrontation. The narrative picks up when these two stick together to take down the ancient evil, known only as The Master.

As mentioned here, Stoll describes their first encounter, "We really are forced together under the worst circumstances. And the triumvirate of me, him, and Setrakian (Bradley), and the way those relationships sort of bounce off each other is really fun."

In the video, Fett shows up with a gun pointing at the back of Eph's head. We will have to wait and see if they settle their differences and work side by side.

The Strain airs Sundays on FX at 10pm. Readers, are you excited to see these two characters meet?
