Comedian Todd Glass made a stop by Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart last night to promote his appearance at the DC Improv. Oh wait, no, he was promoting his new book The Todd Glass Situation.

During the segment, the two comedians talked largely about Glass' coming out of the closet (or busting out of the shed!) a couple of years ago on Marc Maron's popular WTF with Marc Maron podcast.

"I'm still a guy," Glass joked about the phrase "coming out of the closet."

He then went on to explain that he would have come out some time ago but was very much afraid that it would become his "identity" –– which it has certainly not.

"You were so natural, so charismatic, so funny onstage," said Stewart, "that I can't imagine as a performer not being able to express the whole of yourself onstage." To that, Glass expressed that it became difficult at certain points, but he was still happy.

"I had more stories about my girlfriend than guys that had girlfriends," the comedian joked. "But they were true stories. I just switched the sex. Which proves that all relationships are the same."

Glass, who hosts his own podcast, The Todd Glass Show, proceeded to then tell more hilarious stories about his life before busting out of the shed.

Watch the full interview here:

While Glass' "partner in crime" didn't make an appearance, he was the topic of conversation for quite a bit –– which he apparently probably wasn't too thrilled about. But it was still hilarious, regardless.
