Jessica Simpson could be returning to her musical roots. The singer turned fashion designer just revealed that she is looking to get back into music after just tying the knot to husband Eric Johnson. The couple wed in a romantic ceremony in California last month.

While Us Weekly is reporting that, Jess loves being married, she isn't wasting anytime before resuming her busy career.

While Simpson originally made a name for herself in the music industry, she hasn't released an album since her Happy Christmas one back in 2010. Prior that the singer released her last album of original music on her 2008 record Do You Know, which featured Jessica's first venture into country music.

However, it looks like what really brought the music venture back to the forefront of her mind were her children, Maxwell, 2, and Ace, 14 months.

"I can't wait for my kids to experience that with me," she previously stated. "Even Eric. He's never seen me perform onstage."

And it looks like it might be easy to get back into the studio swing of things, as she is constructing a studio right in her house.

"We're building a studio in our house," Jess revealed. "I bought a house from Ozzy Osbourne, so a lot of the studio was already set up. I want to see what comes out. It's time for me to find that out."

As far as what the new music will sound like, if it will be country or she'll return to her pop days, she says that is something that she's figuring out in the studio.

"I am setting up the sound in my studio [at home] right now. Well, my kids are there, and they inspire me. They'll bring the music out of me."
