Cee Lo Green Deletes Twitter Account After Tweeting Conflicting Text About Rape After Pleading "No Contest" To Felony Charge Of Date Rape Drug

Cee Lo Green may have just put himself in a hole after pleading no contest Friday, Aug. 29 to one felony count of giving ecstasy to a woman during a 2012 dinner in Los Angeles.

According to Billboard.com, the singer expressed his opinion about the issue via social media Sunday in multiple tweets. 

Green, later deleted the questionable tweets from his account, and then deleted his entire account. The Fuck You singer tweeted, "Women who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!"

"If someone is passed out they're not even WITH you consciously! so WITH Implies consent," he continued.

The former The Voice coach deleted all the tweets, and even confessed to deleting them. "yes I did. I will not allow that negative energy to loiter on my time line u still got it so keep it! I'm deleting this too"

It seems that Green had a change of heart, and calmed down returning to Twitter to post an apology saying that his comments were "taken so far out of context" and stating "I'd never condone the harm of any women."
