Justin Bieber Arrested After ATV Crash & Fight, Selena Gomez Involved, Jail Time Soon? Twitter Fans Respond To 'Assault & Dangerous Driving' Charges

Apparently, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are "officially" back together - the young couple enjoyed a "peaceful" trip to Canada together over the weekend:

Well, maybe the romantic getaway didn't go as smoothly as Gomez describes. Rumors suggest that Bieber was arrested on Friday (August 29) and now could facecharges including assault and dangerous driving.

According to the infamous gossip webloid TMZ, the 20-year-old pop star ultimately got into a ATV accident involving a mini-van. After the crash, JB and the other unidentified driver allegedly got into a "physical altercation." Details surrounding the fight still remain unconfirmed, but Bieber was eventually arrested and taken into custody in Perth County, Ontario Friday afternoon. An official police statement reveals that "after colliding, the driver of the ATV and an occupant of the minivan engaged in a physical altercation." Apparently, no one was injured from the actual crash, and the other driver was a member of the paparazzi.

Bieber was later released on a "promise to appear" in court on September 29. No word on whether or not Gomez was also involved, although both are "fully cooperating" with the current police investigation.
