It doesn't look like that Frozen reign is ever going to let up. The Disney film, which was released in 2013, has been going strong ever since it premiered in theaters, and it looks like the studio behind the film is looking to keep the phenomenon going. Disney has just revealed plans to take a trip back to Arendelle in a new short film called Frozen Fever.

The short will be released in Spring of 2015 and will see the team behind the 2013 smash hit rejoining forces to bring some of our favorite characters back to life. Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, the directors from the first film will return as well as producer Peter Del Vecho and Academy Award winning songwriters of "Let It Go," Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

According to E! New, the story will revolve around the royal family of Arendelle as Queen Elsa and Kristoff strive to give Anna a perfect birthday.

"It's Anna's birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa's icy powers may put more than just the party at risk."

Oh no! Will Elsa set off an eternal winter again?

However, while we have some good news, the possibility of Kristen Bell (Anna), Josh Gad (Olaf), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff), and Idina Menzel (Elsa) returning to the franchise is still unknown at this time.

We would think that they would have to be crazy not to, as the first film brought in $1.27 billion worldwide, yup you read that right we said billion. This not only made it on of the biggest movies of 2013 and 2014 but also the top earning animated film ever.

Frozen is also looking to expand the universe of Arendelle as the Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and more will be making the jump to the TV screen in ABC's fantasy series Once Upon A Time this fall.

Frozen Forever will most likely make its debut in accompaniment to one of Disney's film scheduled for release in 2015, including Cinderella, Tomorrowland, and Inside Out.
