And now the story of a stellar design who hooked everyone, and one designer who had no choice but to reap all of the benefits –– it's an Arrested Development DVD Cover Art Contest!

It's been reported that creators of the FOX-turned-Netflix hit series Arrested Development are calling on their fans to design the DVD cover for Season Four of the famed series, according to Entertainment Weekly via the series' fan art site.

On the site, creator / showrunner Mitch Hurwitz joked (I think) that he was planning to originally steal some art from the aforementioned fan art site, but 20th Century Fox apparently had a problem with it. He then notes, "They have come around to my second suggestion, 'Let's have a contest for best fan art! And then steal it!'"

Check out Hurwitz's full letter to the show's fans below:

Those interested are able to submit their work to the official Tumblr page anytime before this coming Sept. 20. The judges (perhaps the Bluths?) will then decide on a winner by Nov. 1. The winner will not only get the pleasure of seeing their work appear on the show's DVD cover, but they'll also win a $1,000 cash price.

A message was released on the show's official Facebook page as well:

As of now, there is no release date for the season four DVDs.

For more information on how you can submit to the Arrested Development cover art design contest, visit the official rules page.

Leave it to the Bluth family to outsource their work, right?
