American Horror Story: Freak Show has viewers anxiously waiting for the fourth installment of the series to premiere, but there is one person that might be watching the show with her hands covering her eyes. Emma Roberts, who stars on the hit FX show, says that she often hides during the scary scenes when she is rewatching the episodes.

E! News caught up with the actress, who joined the series during the third season Coven, at Target's annual After-Hours Shopping Event. The spokesperson for Neutrogena was on hand to promote the brands beauty products but also to give away some juicy details about Freak Show.

The star tells the entertainment new site, "I was a fan of the first two season before I came on," but she does reveal that she had trouble going to sleep at night after reading the scripts for the fourth season.

"I have to say, Freak Show is really scarier," Roberts says, comparing it to last season lighthearted Coven. "I read the script and I was having nightmares."

Emma also gave away some details about her character Maggie, saying that some are speculating that her character isn't going to be one of the freaks because of her appearance, however, she tease, "that might not be true."

She will join returning cast members Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Frances Conroy, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett and Michael Chiklis in the new season, which is set in 1952 and takes place in Jupiter, Florida.

While this is speculated to be Lange's last go-around on the series, Roberts remains hopefully that the actress will change her mind and stay for season five.

"I think all of us have our fingers crossed that Jessica will come back next season," the actress told E! News. "At least I do because I love working with her. I hope it's not her last season."

The Freak Show will begin on Wednesday, October 8 on FX.
