Brooks Wheelan, Jimmy Pardo: Former ‘Saturday Night Live’ Cast Member Guests On ‘CONAN’ Comedian’s ‘Never Not Funny’ Podcast Following TBS Set & Recent Firing

Recently let go Saturday Night Live cast member, Brooks Wheelan, made a stop by CONAN comedian Jimmy Pardo's popular podcast Never Not Funny following a set on the famed TBS talk show.

The stand up sat in with Pardo and co-host Matt Belknap alongside video extraordinaire Eliot Hochberg and the show's intern Garon Cockrell to discuss his being fired from the renowned NBC sketch show, his set on last week's CONAN and living his dream as a comedian.

Wheelan kicked off the episode with his untied boots (listen to the episode to get what I'm talking about) and proceeded to hop into the chair and immediately find himself as one of the gang, sharing stories of the road with Pardo along with his opinions on the inner workings of Saturday Night Live and how both Pardo and Louis C.K. were major influences on him in his younger days.

Luckily, Wheelan was able to express his appreciation towards both Pardo and the Louie star: Pardo on the NNF episode, and Louis C.K. during his time hosting SNL.

During his NNF appearance, the comic disclosed a number of sketch ideas he presented to the SNL gods, ones that were rejected by the show's producers. Frankly, the ideas sound like they could have been total wins had they reached the air.

Alas, we'll never be able to see that "Member of the Titanic Band Who Didn't Want to Leep Playing" sketch. Damn you, SNL!
