Newlyweds Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross Enjoy Their Honeymoon In Bali

Ashlee Simpson and husband Evan Ross were spotted enjoying their honeymoon in Bali on Sunday. The newlyweds jetted off to the tropical destination a week after tying the knot at Evan's mother's (Diana Ross) Connecticut home.

The couple was spotted soaking up the sun on the beaches of Bali last weekend. Ashlee looked stunning in a red one-piece bathing suit while her new husband took photos of her on a lounge chair. Onlookers also saw the pair relaxing by their hotel pool.

E! Online reported that an eyewitness saw the duo get into a car at the airport and head to the St. Regis hotel.

"'Evan was smitten over Ashlee, constantly taking pics of his new bride on his phone,' the insider dished adding that they were alone and spent a little over a week in Bali," E! Online revealed.

While on their romantic vacation, Evan paused to share a picture of the couple together. Evan posted a picture of his new bride and himself in a car with the caption: "This love is so goooood!!!!!"

E! News previously reported that the couple got married in a private ceremony on August 31.

"The wedding went perfectly," Diana Ross told Us Weekly about the event. "We had a beautiful rainbow surrounding us, loving family and friends, great music, and great speeches from loving and caring friends, and joyful children dancing the night away."

The wedding was bohemian-themed with a beautiful reception to follow. In addition to officiating the wedding, Diana also performed "Endless Love" for the lovebirds.

"I want only love, happiness, and joy for my son and his bride," the mother-of-the-groom told the publication.

Ashlee's sister Jessica Simpson was her maid of honor and her son (from her first marriage to Pete Wentz) walked her down the aisle. Her niece Maxwell, 2, was her flower girl and her nephew Ace, 1, was the ring bearer.
