Robert Pattinson Bunks up in Reese Witherspoon's Vacation Home

After moving out of the Los Angeles home that he and former girlfriend of three years Kristen Stewart once shared, Robert Pattinson is said to have moved in to the quiet vacation home of Reese Witherspoon in Ojai, CA.

According to reports, immediately after hearing that R-Patz was ditching his former Los Feliz love nest (after Stewart admitted that she had cheated on him with the Snow White and The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders) Witherspoon insisted Pattinson leave the dramatic hustle-and-bustle of the city and spend some time at her quiet weekend home 85 miles away.

Witherspoon, who starred alongside Pattinson in the romantic-drama "Water for Elephants," once described Pattinson as "the nicest guy." Pattinson took Witherspoon right up on her offer and recently moved in (after receiving some initial comfort and support from friends in LA right after the move-out).

Witherspoon must know how it feels for Pattinson to go through this whole cheating scandal ordeal, considering she experienced a similar struggle in the public eye with her now ex-husband Ryan Phillippe (who allegedly had an affair with Australian actress Abbie Cornish).

While Pattinson stays at Witherspoon's home, Stewart has since moved back in with her parents. According to a report by Us Weekly, her parents "feel Kristen has really embarrassed herself... This is not the Kristen they know."

After the Stewart-Sanders affair was ousted, Stewart released a statement saying she was embarrassed to have "jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob." 

But doesn't look like R-Patz is hearing it, and it looks like his friends (and most fans) fully support him on that.

Sanders, married with two children, also released a statement saying, "My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together." 

Witherspoon's Ojai weekend retreat was recently featured in a photo series that ran on Elle Decor's website (coincidently, the day after the Stewart-Pattinson scandal broke). She describes the home as relaxed, where, "The air is fresh, the phone isn't ringing, you can't access e-mail. Time slows down."
