13 years have passed since the tragic events of September 11, when we lost thousands of innocent lives and watched helplessly as the World Trade Center was brought down by terrorist attacks. To express their remembrance and honor those who lost their lives on 9/11, Bridget Moynahan, LeBron James, Jessica Chastain, and Taylor Swift went to their social media sites with the hashtag, #NeverForget.

On the CBS drama, Blue Bloods, Moynahan plays the daughter of a police family. On her official Instagram, the TV starlet posted a wonderful snapshot with real-life NYPD officers. The entire group is heading off to the memorial site to pay their respect.

Moynahan writes, "We are all off to remember the fallen #9/11 #neverforget #freedom"

In Zero Dark Thirty, Chastain played one of the many C.I.A. agents responsible for the decade-long manhunt for Al Qaeda leader, Osama Bin Laden. On her official Twitter site, the Oscar-nominated movie star shared a picture of her visit to the 9/11 memorial.

Chastain tweets, "Today the 9/11 museum is open to the public. We remember the lives that were lost this day 13 years ago. #9/11/0"

Though many are still grieving, the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball star reminds us to stay strong and hopeful on a dark and dismal day.

James states, "#UnitedWeStand #TogetherWeStandAsWell"

The Shake It Off songstress describes the emotion of visiting the 9/11 memorial, "Visiting the @Sept11Memorial this year was something I'll never forget, in memory of a day we will always remember with tears in our eyes."

Our thoughts and prayers go to the families who have lost loved ones on this day. The list of the fallen names seems endless, but no one should ever lose sight that there will be a brighter, peaceful tomorrow.

On 9/11, celebrities went to their social media sites to pay for their respects. Readers, what are your thoughts of #NeverForget?
