Nick Offerman made a quick stop over at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night to promote his new book Paddle Your Own Canoe. During his segment, the Parks and Recreation star discussed both his 'Unqualified Advice' bit and how he and his college roommate had "sexual codes" growing up.

"I love to give advice to the young people," Offerman said at the beginning of his panel. When Fallon asked the comedic actor if he got along with his roommate in college, the NBC star went off on a tangent talking about how the two "discovered sexual adventures together."

Latent with loads of innuendos – such as "alongside one another" and "traveling the frontier contemporaneously" – Offerman delighted the host and crowd with tales of codes that he and his roommate would engage in while finding themselves on the search for some "company" in college.

"We had a code," Offerman told the comedian. "Depending on what garment you left on the doorknob, that would let you know how long to stay out of the room or what kind of cleaning products would required."

Will you ever look at yarmulkes the same? We surely won't.

Before taking to the chair, the humorist participated in Fallon's 'Unqualified Advice' bit, where he doled out some rather necessary (?) advice to college kids. Answering questions about passing tests, running marathons, the new iPhone 6 and abandoning one's children, Offerman quickly became our favorite Tonight Show guest in just one segment. Would you agree?
