When creepy stalkers send Anna Kendrick gifts, there is only one thing to do with them ... throw them in the trash. The Pitch Perfect star opened up about a stalker incident to Marc Maron during his WTF With Marc Maron podcast on Monday and revealed that she throws gifts away if they are sent to her home.

Sound a little mean? Anna totally agrees, but she had to do it. "There's no way of telling this story that doesn't make me sound like a [jerk]," the Twilight actress said in her interview.

The Up In The Air actress continued by saying she gets really freaked out when people discover her home address and then send her gifts.

"They include in the message, 'I'm sorry if this is an invasion of privacy,'" Anna said. "It's like, well, it is, it is, and if you would've just sent it through the proper channels, it would have been a lot sweeter."

She recalled a story when someone sent her a teddy bear and she threw it in the trash right away. "I don't even want to give it to a friend because you never know if there's anthrax in the teddy bear. I don't know. And no, there's probably not, but it just goes in the trash. It's too weird," she explained.

The best and worst gift she's ever gotten? Diamond earrings. Many girls would love to have real diamond earrings (yes, these were real), but usually from a boyfriend ... not a crazed fan.

"I got [a gift] with, like a really long letter about how he really felt like we should be together, and if I would just give him a chance, and he didn't want to do it over social media because he thought that would just pressure me because it would be public. And he, uh, sent me a pair of diamond earrings. For-real diamond earrings," the 29-year-old actress recalled.

She continued, "I was just like, these have to go in the trash ... I cannot wear them, I can't give them to someone, it's too weird. On principle, if the teddy bear goes in the trash, these go in the trash. So if you send it to my house, it's going in the trash."

She ended the story on a funny note, which is typical of the Drinking Buddies star. "Could you imagine if I kept the earrings? Then I'd have to marry this guy. That's how it works!"
