FX' 'The Strain' Spoilers: Will Corey Stoll's Ephraim Goodweather Find His Missing Wife In 'Loved Ones?' [Watch Video]

With The Strain getting scarier and more action-packed with its growing vampire invasion, FX has released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming episode, 'Loved Ones.' Based on the best-selling series by Dark Horse Comics from visionary director Guillermo Del Toro, Ephraim Goodweather (Corey Stoll) is in a race against time to find his missing wife.

In our recent recap, Zach Goodweather (Ben Hyland) entered his household and discovered his living room a wrecked mess. When the young boy called out his mother, her infected boyfriend all of a sudden showed up. The mother's boy toy had transformed himself into a bloodthirsty vampire.

In the trailer, we see Zach trying to pinpoint his mother's exact location through her cellphone. If Eph (Stoll) does find her, will he discover his ex-wife has become one of the bloodsuckers? Remember Eph failed to save his friend Jim (Sean Astin), even after fighting so hard to prove there is a cure.

If he failed his closet friend, does that mean Eph will also lose his ex-wife as well?

We also see poor Dutch (Ruta Gedmintas) captured and being led straight into the hands of the old and dying billionaire, Eldritch Palmer (Jonathan Hyde). Eldritch doesn't care he is wiping out humanity for his quest for immortality. All he wants to do is cheat death, which is why Palmer keeps having these radical surgeries to keep himself alive.
