To celebrate the 45th anniversary of Sesame StreetTonight Show host Jimmy Fallon called in some of the cast for his beloved Tonight Show Hashtags bit during last night's episode of the NBC talk show in order to read some of his favorite tweets. This installment was "#WhenIWasAKid"...

The comedian kicked off the segment with Elmo and moved on down the line from Cookie Monster to Abby Cadabby, Oscar the Grouch, Grover, Murray, and finally, Big Bird. And while they all had some rather hilarious tweets, our vote for the best one goes to @SloopJohnBeav, who posted, "I was upset that the 'Sesame Street' theme song never actually told us how to get there. Answer the question! #WhenIWasAKid"

Check out the video of Tonight Show Hashtags below:

Fallon has been a big supporter of Sesame Street for quite some time now, having had the cast (the Muppets, of course) on his previous Late Night with Jimmy Fallon show back when he was the host, which Elmo touched on briefly before asking how much part of the set cost.

This newest installment of Tonight Show Hashtags has us yearning for the days of our youth, but in truth, we can't help but notice that Oscar the Grouch just seems like some grumpy dude from the streets of New York ... which is absolutely hysterical and kind of makes us want to go on a YouTube binge of Oscar the Grouch clips. But we'll resist –– for now.

So, who do you think had the best tweet?
