'Boardwalk Empire' Season 5 Spoilers: Will Steve Buscemi's Nucky Thompson Become 'The Good Listener?' [Watch Video]

The fifth season of Boardwalk Empire has just begun airing on HBO, with actor Steve Buscemi returning for the last time as the corrupt politician/mob boss Nucky Thompson. In this alternate timeline of history, will Nucky's bootlegging empire fall part as the Prohibition era comes to a close in 'The Good Listener?'

In our recent recap, we saw Thompson (Buscemi) traveling all the way to Cuba, along with his companion Sally Wheet (Patricia Arquette). Nucky has a brilliant plan to continue making money once Prohibition ends. With the help of a U.S. Senator, the scheming trio has a plan to bring Bacardi Rum into the states once the act is repealed.

While Nucky plans to make millions off of his get-rich-quick scheme, Lucky Luciano (Vincent Piazza) has dreams of rising through the ranks and making his way to the top. But can Lucky be number one amongst these powerful gangsters, when there's competition all around him?

In the footage, we see Nucky in a secret meeting with his wealthy associates. He introduces them to his Bacardi Rum plan, persuading them to turn towards his direction. But will the criminal mastermind be able to pull it off?

You have to remember a ht-man just tried to kill him in the crowded streets of Cuba. Someone was willing to assassinate in public, for all eyes to see. Will Nucky's master plan be met with approval or hesitation?
