A high profile cast which included Candice Swanepoel, Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid, Joan Smalls and Kendall Jenner stunned viewers as they walked in Marc Jacobs sporting a black bowl cut wig. Th fashion powerhouse unveiled his spring/summer 2015 collection in New York Fashion Week with a star-studded parade of makeup-free models.

Today got the inside scoop on the themed runway show. There was absolutely no make-up involved for the natural faces of the gorgeous supermodels. Each striking personality had to walk across the runaway barefaced, with the black wig on and wearing a leathery military jacket.

If you notice in the pictures, Swanoepoel looks at ease sitting in her chair as a minimal brush is added to her cheeks. To keep with the stress-free atmosphere, no lip balm was added to Lima's fresh skin. While mostly moisturizers were used, these models still looked breathtaking without all the glam.

Make-up artist Francois Nars explains to The Cut how the concept came about, "Marc said, 'I feel like maybe they shouldn't have much makeup,' and I went along and said, 'Maybe they shouldn't have any makeup at all.'"

As we reported here, the KWUTK reality TV starlet was strutting her stuff while wearing a bright reddish and bikini. The second time around, the brunette beauty put on a navy veil with briefs underneath, and wearing no top whatsoever. For Jacobs' show, the up-and-coming model proved she can look stunning with her clothes on.

Candice Swanepoel, Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid, Joan Smalls, Kendall Jenner joined the catwalk together for Marc Jacobs' upcoming collection. Readers, what do you think of these make-up free photos?
