Derek Hough 'Dancing With The Stars' Return- Pro Talks Sister Julianne Hough Judging Him & New Partner Bethany Mota

It has been a pretty busy year for Dancing With the Stars hunk Derek Hough who just finished writing a book, traveled the country on a dancing tour, and is now shooting scenes for ABC country music series Nashville. The reality star is also gearing up to return for season 19 of DWTS, and he is so excited about it.

The dancing pro opened up in a blog post that he wrote for TVGuide, where he explains the new season of Dancing With the Stars, how he feels about his sister Julianne Hough judging him and his new partnership with Bethany Mota.

The star didn't know if he would be making his return for the new season of Dancing, but after careful consideration he revealed that he made the right decision by coming back for another go-around.

"This season is a different experience for me than last season because there's a lot of change happening this year," the star writes. "I wanted to make sure that I was here to be part of it and to support the show. Dancing with the Stars is amazing. It's the biggest dance show in the world and it's an absolute privilege to be part of it."

While the star explains that him and his sister Julianne Hough got really close on tour, that it doesn't mean that she will take it easy on him when it comes to her judging over his performances.

"She's not afraid to be honest," Derek explains. "She's very fair and I know she would never treat me any differently than any other contestant. She hasn't and she won't. I think she's comfortable in a judging role."

The star also gushes about his new partner for this season, Bethany Mota.

"I'm in awe at what she's accomplished at such a young age," Hough says. "She's actually the youngest partner I've ever had too. She's just an absolute sweetheart. I love what she stands for and what she's built."
