Sam Worthington Attacks Paparazzi, Sued For $10 Million: 'Avatar' Star & Girlfriend Lara Bingle's Violent Bar Fight With Sheng Li Sparks Lawsuit

But he's probably not smiling now, considering a member of the paparazzi is currently suing the "Avatar" star for a whopping $10 million...

According to TMZ, Worthington and his girlfriend Lara Bingle got into a heated altercation with photog Sheng Li back in February. Li was trying to take some snapshots of the couple outside of a popular NYC bar when the duo allegedly retaliated with violence. According to the lawsuit, Worthington and Bingle "viciously assaulted" Li. They're also accused of slander and libel. Apparently they made false statements to the police about Li following the attack.

Check out the footage captured back in February. Li insists that as a result of the fight, he suffered a torn shoulder, facial contusions, and injuries to his thumb and wrist. He's suing for damages, including doctor fees.
