Brian Michael Bendis, Mahmud Asrar's 'All-New X-Men' #32: Will Miles Morales Join X-Men Team?

Marvel Comics presents the unexpected team-up between Ultimate Spider-Man and the X-Men. Writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Mahmud Asrar have a new visitor, Miles Morales, swinging in to meet the original mutant superhero team in All-New X-Men #32. 

As we mentioned here, Bendis posted the cover, a black and white version of the drawing, on his Tumblr months ago. The artwork by Sara Pichelli teases Miles being surrounded by Iceman, Beast, Jean Grey, X-23, and Kitty Pryde. The team is in the midst of their Danger Room when the Ultimate Spider-Man arrives.

There is a rift in the timestream which as caused Angel to be sent backwards to the past. Stranded in the Jurassic period, Warren Worthington finds himself surrounded by man-eating dinosaurs. Not only is the X-Man missing, an alternate Spidey from the Ultimate Universe finds himself lost in another dimension, butting heads with Jean Grey. 

This isn't the first time Miles left his world and crossed into Earth-616. in the Cataclysm event, the wall-crawler had to find Mr. Fantastic (Reed Richards) to stop Galactus from feeding on the Ultimate Universe. The Devourer of Worlds was stopped, but there were casualties involved, as New jersey was wiped off the face of the map.

Morales is gaining a lot of attention lately outside the comic book realm. Danny Glover, rapper Childish Gambino, voiced the teen superhero in the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon series on Disney XD. We had 5 reasons why his appearance was such a note-worthy milestone.
