Gwyneth Paltrow to Host Dinner Party for President Obama

Politics and celebrities combined? A fundraiser planned by the Democratic National Committee, will be held at actress Gwyneth Paltrow's Los Angels home on October 9^th.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, tickets for the Democratic National Committee event, where the President will be answering questions from guests, will be between $1,000 and $32,000. Each ticket price will come with very special perks. $1,000 will be the base price per-person, $15,000 will receive a photo along with the dinner and $32,000 donors will obtain a co-host greeting with a name on the official invite.

President Obama has been the focus for numerous charity fundraisers hosted by celebrities. Actress Meryl Streep, designer Michael Kors, Vogue Editor Anna Wintour and Sarah Jessica Parker are among these elite. The last time Obama traveled to Los Angeles, he also raised money for the DNC at Scandal creator Shonda Rhimes home.

Democrats in Hollywood say that it's been a challenge raising money for the midterms. "We need the resources to put Democrats in office to move our country forward," said an invite from the DNC. "Since we do not take money from special interest, corporate lobbyists, and political action committees, we must rely on dedicated Democrats like you."

This will be the second time the President attends a fundraiser hosted by Paltrow. Back during his 2012 campaign she hosed a fundraiser event for the Obama Victory Fund 2012 held at Mark's club in London, England. The night before Obama had attended a fundraiser by (now friends) Beyonce and Jay Z.
