Ray Rice, 50 Cent & Carmelo Anthony: Sports Stars Join Forces: Can NFL, Rap & NBA Stars Get Their Careers Back On Track?

Not so long ago Ray Rice, 50 Cent and Carmelo Anthony were three of the biggest stars America had to offer, but after a bad year or two it seems like they have been forgotten about - in some ways at least. The stars are hoping to take the NFL, rap game and NBA by storm in 2014/15, and they may join forces to do just that. A video has emerged showing Fiddy being Carmelo's bodyguard as reporters attempted to bring up the Rice saga whilst following him across the street. With Fiddy and Carmelo as one, could they both get back to the top of their game this year, and will Rice get another shot in the NFL?

Fiddy has been busy feuding with Floyd Mayweather Jr, and his music has started to improve, but once again, people have been labelling him "lazy" and saying that he's nowhere near the rapper that first burst on to the rap scene. Fiddy is working on another major release, and other artists have insisted this will be his best project for "years and years". Despite not needing the money, if he cares about his reputation, he should hope so.

Carmelo still has a huge reputation in the NBA, however, he failed to make the playoffs for the first time in his career this year, and he's still yet to win an NBA title, allowing for himself to become an easy target for his critics. However, he's back with a fresh new contract with the New York Knicks, and he's hoping after an extra long break, that he can finally push his way deep in to the NBA playoffs, aiming to win a championship in the next year or two.

While it looks possible for this pair to resurrect their careers, it looks near impossible for Rice to get another shot in the NFL.
