The Other Woman star, Leslie Mann, is in talks to join the cast of the National Lampoon's Vacation reboot, which originally starred Chevy Chase in the 1980s.

"Leslie Mann is in negotiations to the cast of Vacation, New Line's reboot-slash-remake of the classic 1980s John Hughes comedy," The Hollywood Reporter exclusively learned.

Leslie is up for the role of Audrey Griswold, who was originally played by Dana Barron, the grown-up daughter of Clark and Ellen Griswold.

This is the latest casting news for the upcoming film, which reportedly will start filming in Louisiana next week. According to THR, both Ed Helms (from The Hangover) and Christina Applegate (from Anchorman) have already signed on for the project.

Ed will play Rusty Griswold, the grown-up son of Clarke Griswold and Christina will play Rusty's wife.

The original comedy followed the Griswold family on a family road trip where everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Both Chevy and Beverly D'Angelo (who played Ellen Griswold in the original film) will have cameos in the reboot.

Chris Hemsworth and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Charlie Day are reportedly in talks to join the family-fun comedy, too.

"Hemsworth, who sources say has been itching to do a comedy for awhile, will play Stone Crandall, an up-and-coming anchorman and the husband of Rusty's sister, Audrey. The latter part has not yet been cast," The Hollywood Reporter revealed in August.

If Charlie joins the cast he would be featured, as a river-rafting guide and it would be a cameo performance.

Both John Francis Daley and Jonathon Goldstein wrote the script that will follow Rusty Griswold's family on a similar trip to the one he, his sister and his parents took in the 1983 flick.
