Eva Mendes And Ryan Gosling Welcome Baby Girl

Two of the hottest Hollywood stars, Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling, gave birth to a baby girl this Friday, Sept. 12, sources tell Us Weekly.

The couple's pregnancy has been tight lipped these nine months as Mendes even denied the rumors in the beginning of her pregnancy. "It's so ridiculous," she said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show back in February of this year. "It all started because I didn't want to go through the scanners at the airport, you know those X-ray scanner, which are really creepy? They basically see you naked, right? And not only that, but there's a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out."

The couple began dating during their film together, The Place Beyond the Pines in 2012. PEOPLE confirmed that Mendes, 40, and Gosling ,33, were expecting. 

"Their lives completely changed as soon as Eva got pregnant. They used to travel all over the place together and go on hikes with their dogs," a sources told PEOPLE. "Ryan has been taking care of her, picking up food and running errands. He has been very supportive of keeping things a secret."

So is this a career slow-down for the couple? It's possible - sad face.

Gosling told UK newspaper The Times in 2011 that he would, "make movies until I make babies."

If that statement is to be considered factual (which we highly doubt) that would be a sad day in Hollywood history.

Believe it or not, heartthrob Gosling started his acting career on the Disney Channel's Mickey Mouse Club. His first real adult role was in The Believer in 2001. The actor's claim to fame is his starring role in The Notebook where he won four Teen Choice Awards and an MTV Movie Award. The movie is a classic for young romantic drama lovers.
