'Teen Mom 2' Renewed For Season 6! Chelsea Houska, Jenelle Evans, Leah Messer & Kailyn Lowry Coming Back To MTV For New Episodes

Get ready for some more baby mama drama. It has just been announced that our favorite girls from Teen Mom 2 will be coming back for a brand new season next year. MTV has revealed the news that moms, Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry, Chelsea Houska, and Leah Messer will all by coming back for season 6 of the reality series.

The show, which had its fifth season extended by 12 episodes earlier this year, will now add a brand new season to the MTV lineup. This is awesome news for all the Teen Mom fans out there who were lead to believe that season 5 would be the shows last.

RadarOnline is reporting that the new season is in the beginning stages of production with all the cast members looking to come back for it.

"Producers are getting ready for season 6," a source explained. "They are calling the girls to make sure everyone is on board."

Prior to this news, MTV had the status of the series up in the air for a while with no word on whether it was going to be cancelled or renewed.

"The show hadn't been renewed, and no one was filming," an insider revealed. "It was stressful!"

However, fans can breathe a sigh of relief as MTV realizes how successful the series is to their lineup.

"The producers know the show is a success, and it's not going anywhere," a source explained.

The new seasons will most likely be hitting the airwaves late next year, as the network is gearing up to debut an all new season of the original Teen Mom series starring Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, and Amber Portwood.

Focusing on the original teen moms will give Evans, Houska, Lowry, and Messer some time off to focus on their families.

However, fans can still see the girls on TV, as the season five reunion with Dr. Drew Pinsky will premiere later this month.
