You might know Bill Cosby as the fun loving dad from The Cosby Show or as the hilarious comedian that loves wearing comfy sweaters and eating pudding, but everything you know about the star might soon be shattered, as there are now rumors that a new tell-all book about Cosby is in the works, which claims that the 77-year-old cheated on his wife.

News site, new.com.au, is claiming that in author Mark Whitaker's new book, Cosby: His Life and Time that the actor may not appear as warm and fuzzy as his TV character portrays. Whitaker claims that Bill has lived a life of adultery and aggression.

Mark states that the success, which Cosby found on his sitcom, led the star to lead a life of wealth that included fancy cars, private planes, and yes, lots of woman.  It was a complete 180 from what young Bill Cosby experienced as a shoe shiner and he is said to have enjoyed the playboy lifestyle a bit too much.

Whitaker alludes to the fact that Bill was often out attending parties in Las Vegas and that he was involved in countless affairs for a number of decades, something that he states was not something Cosby's wife Camille was too happy about.

He also claims that Bill had his fair share of aggressive behavior over the years. The author details one fight that broke out between Cosby and comedian Tommy Smothers during an interaction at the Playboy Mansion.

"Cosby was so furious that he couldn't control him," the author writes. "He slipped around [Hugh] Hefner and punched Smothers in the head from behind, so hard that the smaller comedian feel to the ground."

The fight allegedly broke out when Cosby though a compliment from Smothers was actually an insult. Hefner had to break the fight up between the two men.

Bill also attacked one of the cameramen on The Cosby Show during a taping. In this altercation he had to once again be restrained from fighting.

Cosby: His Life and Time also digs into the traumas of Cosby's life as a father, focusing on the death of Cosby's son, Ennis, during a shooting in Los Angeles, and also the comedian's daughter's drug addition.

Whitaker paints a portrait of Cosby as a lonely man in his older years, who commissioned an artist to create statues and paintings of Ennis, who Bill would talk to as if they were listening.

However, despite all the negative implications about Bill's life from this book, the star continues to work, performing his standup acts around the country and also making appearances at special events.
