August Alsina Still In ICU After Fainting On Stage At NYC Concert On Monday, Singer Suffered Multiple Seizures

MStars News has learned that singer August Alsina still remains in ICU in a New York City hospital after collapsing onstage during a performance on his Testimony Tour, Monday.

According to Madame Noire, reports have revealed that an unnamed rep for the 22-year-old singer says that Alsina is being treated for multiple seizures.

We previously reported that Alsina fainted on stage Monday night at the Irving Plaza in downtown Manhattan, where some suspected drugs were the reason behind the singers collapse. Video footage showed Alsina singing and suddendly falling off of the stage.

Now we know that Marijuana was in the singer's system, along with exhaustion and dehydration which is the likely cause of his collapse.

Yesterday, August scheduled to continue his Testimony Tour in Cincinnati, Ohio, but MTV News said that performance was cancelled. Details are unknown at this time if Alsina will perform Friday night in Indianapolis.

August's reps have not officially released a public statement, but tour opener Teyanna Taylor did confirm that the No Love singer was indeed in the hospital, via Instagram.

"Yesterday was a long painful night...smh Headed back to the hospital to check my lil homie @augustalsinaHe's resting up. That's all he needs, it's been a long tour & incredible tour for us!! He appreciates everybody's love, support and prayers. Thank You Guys!"
