In honor of Friends' 20th anniversary, the Warner Bros. show has opened a pop up shop in New York of its iconic coffee shop Central Perk. Friends actor and Central Perk barista, James Michael Tyler, who played Gunther on the hit series is shared his show secrets and opened up about one of TV's favorite couples. Ross and Rachel, at the pop up shop.

James recalled one of his favorite moments of the show's 10 seasons saying, he enjoyed when Gunther finally got closure with Rachel Green (played by Jennifer Aniston), who he was madly in love with for 10 years.

"It was really cool that the writers allowed that closure for a 10-year unrequited love," James told New York Daily News.

"You kind of feel sorry for him because I don't think he had a lot of experience with the ladies. He was harmless and he was very driven but he never had the guts to really say anything. But Rachel was out of his league anyway," James admitted.

Perhaps the biggest moment in Gunther 's history on the show is when he told Rachel about Ross Geller (played by David Schwimmer) sleeping with the copy girl. After all these years, does he regret his actions?

"Absolutely not. He cheated on her, are you kidding me? Ross doesn't deserve Rachel," the actor told TV Line.

Despite Gunther's best efforts to break up Ross and Rachel, which mainly revolved around the "we we're on a break" fight, the Friends couple did end up together and lived happily ever after (we would assume).

"Yes, Gunther's pretty sad about it... He wasn't the happiest of characters. I think it's because he had a very long commute, a lot of stops from New Jersey," the 52-year-old actor explained.

The worst part about poor Gunther working in the coffee shop for 10 years was that he never got to hangout with the gang on the iconic orange couch. "As a character, I was never able to sit on the couch," James revealed to Time magazine. "Gunther only sat on it once!"

Luckily, the actor got his chance, while sitting on the big couch and doing interviews with reporters at the pop up shop. Now you too can sit on the famous couch, meet Gunther (who dyed his hair blonde again for the anniversary) and look around Central Perk and finally be part of the Friends gang.

"They can come down here. There is free Eight O' Clock coffee, it is a special Central Perk blend and we have props from the show: the orange couch, Pat the dog, we have Phoebe's guitar along with some giveaways and contests. It's a museum for a show that was iconic," he told the New York Daily News.

The Central Perk pop up shop is now open at 199 Lafayette Street in Manhattan through Oct. 18.
